The Casadei Flexa 607 and Flexa 607XE (Electronic Version) are heavy-duty, industrial automatic edgebanding machines engineered by the SCM Group for medium-to-large woodworking shops and industrial furniture manufacturers. Designed to process coiled edge materials (PVC, ABS, melamine, veneer) as well as solid wood strips, these machines deliver high-precision edge application and fine finishing at feed speeds up to 18 m/min.
Machine Structure & Feed System
Heavy-Duty Steel Base: Torsion-free welded steel frame designed to absorb vibrations and guarantee structural stability during continuous operation.
Track Feed System: Precision transport chain with high-friction rubber pads running on hardened steel guideways to prevent panel shifting.
Top Pressure Belt / Rollers: Heavy-duty top pressure beam with double rows of rubber rollers (or motorized pressure belt) ensuring uniform panel hold-down.
Infeed & Glue Application Units
Pre-Milling Unit (RT-V): Dual counter-rotating diamond cutterheads remove edge imperfections and chip-outs from panel edges prior to gluing.
Granulate Glue Pot (GP-V): Teflon-coated quick-melt glue basin for EVA/PUR hot-melt adhesives, featuring automatic temperature lowering during idle periods to prevent glue degradation.
Pneumatic Pressure Zone: Multi-stage roller pressure section with pneumatic pressure control to guarantee seamless bond lines.
Processing & Finishing Units
End Trimming Unit (K-2): High-precision dual-motor end trimmers mounted on linear guides for straight and chamfered cutting of leading and trailing edges.
Fine Trimming Unit (R-V): Top and bottom trimming motors equipped with multi-profile radius and straight cutters.
Corner Rounding Unit (ROUND 2M / 4M): Motorized corner rounding unit for smooth, seamless processing of panel edges and corners without stopping the workpiece.
Edge Scraping & Glue Scraping Units (RAS-V / SCR): Removes cutter marks from PVC/ABS edges and cleans surplus glue from panel surfaces.
Buffing / Hot Air Units (BF-V / PH-V): Textile buffing wheels to restore edge luster and smooth out material discoloration.

Flexa 607 (Standard): Features manual setup adjustments with digital readouts for unit positioning.
Flexa 607XE (Electronic / Full Numerical Control): Features full axis control via servo motors. Allows instant changeovers between different edge profiles (e.g., R1, R2, solid wood) directly from the control panel without manual mechanical adjustments.
